100x Recruiting (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a division of Zipapply LLC and is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, share, and protect information gathered from job candidates and applicants (“you” or “candidate”), hiring-manager and business contacts, and employer clients of our services, in compliance with applicable recruiting regulations and privacy laws.

1. Information We Collect

Candidate & Applicant Information. When you apply to a job we post, sign in to apply, or are sourced for an open role, we may collect:

Your name, email address, and (optionally) phone number
Resume contents, including employment history, education, skills, and certifications
Information you provide on an application, including answers to screening questions and any documents or video you submit
When you choose “Apply with LinkedIn,” only your basic LinkedIn profile (your name and email) — shared with your consent solely to pre-fill the application; we never post to your LinkedIn account on your behalf
Candidate records, notes, test scores, and attachments imported from our applicant-tracking system and from third-party people-data and contact-aggregation services we use to source and enrich candidates

Hiring-Manager & Business-Contact Information. Our master directory contains business-contact records — name, business email, phone, job title, and company — used to reach hiring managers about open roles.

Client & Account Information. When an employer engages us or a user creates an account, we collect contact details, login credentials, and payment-related information. Payments are processed and stored by our third-party payment processor; we do not store your full card number on our servers.

Automatically Collected Information. We may collect information about your device, IP address, browser type, and usage data when you interact with our site. This data is used to improve our service and does not by itself identify you personally.

2. How We Use Your Information

100x Recruiting uses collected information to:

Source, screen, rank, and present qualified candidates to employers for their open roles
Operate our public job postings and process the applications we receive (including pre-filling an application from your basic LinkedIn profile when you choose “Apply with LinkedIn”)
Identify and reach hiring managers at companies with open roles, using third-party people-data and contact-aggregation services
Enrich, de-duplicate, and keep candidate and contact records accurate
Generate AI-drafted job descriptions, candidate summaries, and outreach personalized to the role and recipient (using a third-party AI text-generation provider on the back end — we do not permit our AI provider to train models with your data)
Communicate with you about applications, roles, your account, billing, and platform updates
Analyze usage to improve service functionality, site security, and user experience
Comply with legal obligations and industry regulations in recruiting and employment

3. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

With Employers and Clients. When you apply to or are sourced for a role, we present your candidate profile — resume, qualifications, and relevant application materials — to the employer hiring for that role so they can evaluate your candidacy.
With Service Providers. We share necessary information with the third-party service providers that power the Service — including our applicant-tracking system, payment processors, video hosting, transactional email, cloud hosting, AI text-generation, people-data and contact-aggregation services, job-listing aggregation and job boards, and LinkedIn (for “Apply with LinkedIn” sign-in). Each provider processes data only as needed to deliver its piece of the service, under appropriate data-processing agreements.
Legal Compliance. If required by law, subpoena, or court order, we may disclose information to regulatory bodies or authorities to fulfill legal obligations.
Business Transfers. If Zipapply LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of its assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity. We will notify you of any such change.

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

4. Data Storage and Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, and misuse. Your information is stored on encrypted servers operated by our cloud-hosting provider, and we restrict access to authorized personnel only. Passwords are stored using one-way cryptographic hashing — we cannot read your password.

No system is 100% secure; in the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you and applicable regulators in accordance with applicable law.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy — including considering you for current and future open roles — or to comply with legal requirements (such as financial-record retention for tax purposes, and recruiting/EEO record-keeping). You may request deletion at any time, and we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, subject to legal exceptions.

6. Your Rights

In compliance with applicable data privacy laws (including CCPA and GDPR where they apply to you), you have the right to:

Access: Request a copy of your personal information
Rectify: Correct any inaccuracies in your data
Delete: Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention exceptions)
Restrict Processing: Limit the ways we use your data
Object: Object to data processing based on our legitimate interests
Data Portability: Request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format (JSON)
Withdraw Consent: If we are processing your data based on your consent, withdraw that consent at any time

7. Candidate & Hiring-Manager Removal Requests

If you are a candidate or a hiring manager and your information appears in our database or master directory, you have the right to request removal at any time. Email privacy@100xrecruiting.com from the email address that appears on the record (or any verifiable contact channel) and we will remove your record within 7 business days.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as session storage and local storage) to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and analyze site usage. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may prevent some features (such as login persistence) from working.

9. International Data Transfers

Our servers and most of our service providers are located in the United States. If you access 100xrecruiting.com from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, processed in, and stored in the United States in compliance with applicable international data-protection laws.

10. Children’s Privacy

100x Recruiting provides employment-related services and is not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@100xrecruiting.com and we will delete that information.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email or through an in-app notice as required by law.
