This is an opportunity to help shape the future of HR Operations for a global organization with more than 65,000 teammates across 17 countries. Reporting to the VP, HR Strategy & Transformation, the Senior Director will lead GPC’s HR Shared Service Center, with responsibility across Employee Lifecycle, Benefits & Leave Administration, and HR Operations service delivery. The Opportunity GPC is evolving its HR service delivery model, and this leader will play a central role in what comes next. The Senior Director will develop a 3–5-year vision and roadmap for HR Operations, strengthening operational excellence while modernizing service delivery through technology, automation and AI. Key priorities include:
- Leading and developing a high-performing HR Operations leadership team
- Driving HR service delivery and process transformation
- Strengthening alignment across HR Operations, Payroll, Centers of Excellence and Business Unit HR teams
- Establishing meaningful metrics, governance and standardized processes
- Building greater consistency across GPC’s global HR Shared Services framework
- Leveraging technology, automation, AI and analytics to improve efficiency and the employee and manager experience
- Building leadership capability, succession plans and talent pipelines
- Serving as a trusted strategic thought partner to senior HR and business leadership Who We're Looking For We are seeking an accomplished HR Operations / Shared Services leader with:
- 10+ years of progressive HR Operations experience
- Leadership experience within a large, multi-functional HR Shared Services organization
- Proven success leading transformation, process optimization and organizational change
- Experience modernizing HR service delivery through technology, automation and AI
- A strong track record of developing leaders and high-performing teams
- Executive-level influence and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field The ideal candidate is a transformational, collaborative and operationally grounded leader who can set a clear vision, create structure in an evolving environment, and translate strategy into action.
