Safely and efficiently perform assigned duties, producing defect free product. Facilitate movement of material and assure perfect product quality.
- This position is located at 500 The Lakes Parkway Griffin, GA.
- Hours: 1st Shift
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Pay Rate: $18.50 What You Will Do
- Responsible for start-up, operation, change over, shut down and preventative maintenance of assigned production equipment. Equipment may include, but not limited to, production line equipment, forklifts, or other power equipment.
- Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with Company Safety Policy.
- Perform manual tasks such as: loading and supplying production line items, reworking product, and loading conveyors.
- Quality Assurance and testing compliance according to Company and/or designated facility standards. Ability to inspect your own work as well as that of other associates.
- Provide general plant, production line and facility clean up (5S).
- Identify and recommend continuous improvement ideas.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required. Requirements KNOWLEDGE
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Continuous improvement knowledge (preferred) Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Ability to operate hand tools efficiently
- Ability to connect wire harnesses efficiently
- Ability to learn and rotate through all production and support roles Abilities
- Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency.
- Work efficiently self-directed or in a team environment.
- Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds.
- Work cooperatively within a team environment
