We are currently seeking a motivated and highly experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our growing team.
Position Overview
As a Certified Public Accountant at Connally, Jordan & Associates, you will be responsible for providing accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting services to a diverse client base. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, has strong analytical skills, and is passionate about working in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, including tax planning and strategy.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to clients on accounting and financial matters.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing inquiries and providing exceptional service.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and tax laws to ensure compliance and enhance client service.
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 5+ years of public accounting experience, with a strong understanding of accounting and tax principles.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
