The role requires hands‑on automation experience, proficiency in scripting languages, and collaboration with developers and QA teams onsite. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Playwright‑based automation frameworks for web applications
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure test coverage and quality standards
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Perform API testing and database validation (SQL/Oracle)
- Troubleshoot defects, analyze logs, and provide root cause analysis
- Mentor junior QA engineers and drive automation best practices
- Ensure compliance with QA standards and reporting metrics Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years QA/SDET/Automation experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with Playwright (mandatory)
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for Playwright scripting
- Experience with Selenium, Cypress (secondary tools)
- API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured)
- Database validation using SQL/Oracle
- CI/CD integration with Jenkins, Azure DevOps
