Firm & Partner Tax Matters Senior Associate

Description & Requirements This position provides tax preparation services related to partner tax matters. Work includes preparation of work papers, tax returns, responding to tax notices and related tax administration matters and service to the Partners of Forvis Mazars. What You Will Do

• Review individual partner income tax returns, including federal and multi-state filings, tax projections, and responses to notices and inquiries throughout the year.
• Support training and development of team members to ensure accurate and efficient preparation of partner tax returns.
• Assist with tracking processes and e-filing of individual partner returns.
• Stay current on federal and state tax laws and regulations affecting partnerships and individuals.
• Apply sound judgment in tax planning strategies for individual partners.
• Provide support in preparing federal partnership and multi-state tax returns and related workpapers for the firm and affiliated entities.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks to ensure timely and effective completion of responsibilities. Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of relevant experience in tax preparation Preferred Qualifications
• Master's Degree
• Current and active CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
