Accounting Manager - Financial Operations

The Accounting Manager - Financial Operations plays a vital role in our accounting team, overseeing month-end closing activities, analyzing profit and loss statements, leading a dedicated team, and enhancing accounting processes.

• Manage month-end close processes, including calculation and review of journals pertaining to:
• Revenue
• Recurring Expenses
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Work collaboratively with Finance to prepare monthly allocations for cross-utilized contracts.
• Engage with Operations, Finance, IT, Fixed Assets, and Accounts Payable to ensure proper transaction coding.
• Analyze Profit & Loss accounts for discrepancies and unusual activities, leading to timely reclassifications, accruals, and/or Pass-Through Billing.
• Execute ad-hoc projects to improve the integrity of financial reporting.
• Develop and mentor a team of 5-6 offshore accounting professionals.
• Create and implement efficient processes and controls. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial management or accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics (Master's degree is a plus).
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with exceptional technical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software.
• Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities, including complex formulas.
• Familiarity with databases, SQL, and advanced modeling techniques.
• Adept at presenting financial data through detailed reports and visual representations.
• Experience with PowerBi is an advantage.
