Senior Cost Accounting Manager – Manufacturing Base

Up to $180,000, depending on experience We are seeking a hands-on Senior Cost Accounting Manager with a strong manufacturing background and multi-plant experience. This individual will lead cost accounting activities across manufacturing locations and partner with finance and plant leadership to improve cost accuracy, operational performance, and profitability. Key Responsibilities

• Lead standard costing, product costing, and inventory valuation across multiple plants.
• Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances, identifying opportunities to improve margins.
• Oversee cost accounting activities related to month-end close and financial reporting.
• Partner with plant managers on budgets, forecasts, and manufacturing cost analysis.
• Strengthen inventory controls and establish consistent cost accounting processes across locations. Qualifications
• Strong, hands-on manufacturing cost accounting experience.
• Multi-plant experience required.
• Expertise in standard costing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing variance analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work closely with operations leadership.
• SAP experience preferred.
• CPA or MBA is a plus.
