Job Overview GMA Construction Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of commercial construction projects. The Project Coordinator will work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Estimators, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure project documentation, communications, schedules, and administrative requirements are managed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop a strong foundation in commercial construction project management. Duties

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and project coordination support to Project Managers and project teams.
  • Maintain accurate and organized project files, records, correspondence, and documentation within Procore.
  • Assist with the preparation, distribution, and tracking of RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, change orders, and other project documentation.
  • Utilize Procore to manage project communications, documentation, submittals, RFIs, drawings, commitments, and other project controls.
  • Assist with developing, updating, and maintaining project schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, schedules, and outstanding action items and communicate updates to the project team.
  • Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, document meeting minutes, and track action items through completion.
  • Assist with subcontractor and vendor communications, including requests for information, documentation, schedules, and compliance requirements.
  • Support subcontractor procurement, buyout, onboarding, and contract administration activities.
  • Assist with processing and tracking subcontracts, purchase orders, insurance certificates, lien waivers, and other required documentation.
  • Assist with monthly project billing and pay application activities, including collection and organization of supporting documentation.
  • Maintain project logs, trackers, and reports to ensure information is current and accurate.
  • Coordinate with accounting and operations teams regarding project-related invoices, commitments, and documentation.
  • Assist Project Managers with preparation of project reports, presentations, schedules, and other management documentation.
  • Monitor project documentation for completeness and compliance with company policies, contract requirements, and client expectations.
  • Assist with project closeout activities, including punch lists, warranties, O&M manuals, as-builts, and final documentation.
  • Attend project and jobsite meetings as needed.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent construction experience will be considered.
  • 1–3 years of experience in commercial construction, project coordination, project administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Commercial general contracting experience.
  • Procore experience, including RFIs, submittals, drawings, documents, commitments, and project communications.

$65,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
