Small real estate company looking to hire a Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper to handle the accounts payable function. The position requires attendance in the office. Working remotely is not an option. The company's office is located in Chicago's River North neighborhood across from the Merchandise Mart. Prior experience with Sage 300 CRE is a must.
Requirements
- Willing to work in the office part-time for approximately 20 hours each week
- Excellent data entry skills and experience working in Sage 300 CRE
- Detail-oriented with a dedication to accuracy
- Excellent organization skills to keep documentation organized by entity
- Ability to work independently and own the accounts payable process
- Good time management skills to meet deadlines
- Work with others to receive approval and discuss invoices as needed Job
Responsibilities
- Review invoices to confirm amounts are approved and accurate
- Enter vendor invoices accurately on an ongoing basis
- Submit system reports and organized documentation for approval to issue checks
- Process checks using blank check stock and organize documentation to submit for owner's signature
- Mail checks on a weekly basis with payment stubs as required
- Address questions from vendors
- Assist as needed in reconciling vendor accounts
- Other special projects as needed
Pay
