An in-house Bookkeeper responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciliations, payables, reporting, and supporting the firm's ongoing accounting needs.

Position Overview A growing boutique wealth management and advisory firm in Atlanta is seeking an In-House Bookkeeper to take ownership of the firm's day-to-day bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping. This individual will work closely with firm leadership and will play an important role in maintaining accurate, organized, and timely financial information. The ideal candidate is dependable, highly organized, comfortable working independently, and understands the importance of confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information. As the organization grows, the firm intends to continue building its internal accounting capabilities, including the potential addition of an in-house CPA. Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable as applicable.
• Record and categorize financial transactions accurately.
• Assist with monthly and year-end financial close activities.
• Prepare routine internal financial reports for management.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with outside accounting and tax professionals as needed.
• Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve bookkeeping issues.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company and financial information.
• Support the continued development of internal accounting processes and controls. Qualifications
• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals and reconciliations.
• Experience with commonly used accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
• High degree of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
• Experience in financial services, wealth management, professional services, or a similar environment is a plus.
