Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its accounting and finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys financial reporting, complex reconciliations, and working cross-functionally with business stakeholders. What You’ll Do Maintain accounting records and ensure the accuracy of financial statements Prepare daily and monthly journal entries Perform complex account reconciliations and investigate variances Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules related to the leased asset portfolio Assist with financial statement footnotes and disclosures related to leased assets Partner with other departments to research and resolve reconciliation issues Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders within established deadlines Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting processes and implement best practices What We’re Looking For 5+ years of Accounting or Finance experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, and month-end close Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams To be considered, please submit resume to kathy@stafffinancial.com
