Property Accountant – Retail Real Estate Location: Sandy Springs / Dunwoody, GA

$70,000–$90,000, based on experience Industry: Commercial Real Estate Position Overview A privately held commercial real estate investment company is seeking an experienced Property Accountant to support its growing real estate portfolio. The company owns approximately 12 operating properties, including 11 retail shopping centers and one commercial office building, along with additional land holdings. The ideal candidate will have hands-on retail or commercial real estate accounting experience with a strong understanding of CAM, real estate tax, and insurance reconciliations. Key Responsibilities Prepare CAM reconciliations Handle real estate tax and insurance reconciliations Maintain property-level accounting and reconciliations Support month-end close and financial reporting Assist with accounts payable and other property accounting functions Work with accounting and property information in Yardi Provide accounting support and analysis to company leadership Qualifications 2–3+ years of commercial real estate/property accounting experience Retail shopping center accounting experience strongly preferred Hands-on experience with CAM reconciliations Knowledge of real estate tax and insurance reconciliations Yardi experience preferred ARGUS experience is a plus, but not required Strong accounting, reconciliation, and analytical skills Comfortable working in a smaller, entrepreneurial environment Office Environment The position will be based in the Sandy Springs / Dunwoody area. Some short-term remote flexibility may be available while the company establishes its permanent Atlanta office, but the long-term expectation is full-time in the office.
