About the Role Noga Foods is seeking an experienced Fractional Human Resources Leader (15-20 hours per week) to serve as a trusted advisor to our leadership team and help build a high-performing, values-driven organization. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on HR leader who enjoys balancing strategic planning with day-to-day execution while building the foundation of an HR function. As our HR leader, you will partner closely with executive leadership to establish and enhance key people processes, create scalable HR infrastructure, ensure compliance, and develop programs that support both our employees and the continued growth of the business. Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Leadership
- Serve as an HR advisor to executive leadership.
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with company goals.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee relations, performance management, and leadership development.
- Help cultivate a positive, accountable, and values-driven workplace culture.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
- Develop and improve recruiting processes.
- Assist with interviewing and candidate selection for key positions.
- Lead onboarding efforts to ensure new employees have a successful start.
- Employee Relations
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers.
- Manage employee relations matters with professionalism, fairness, and confidentiality.
- Support conflict resolution and facilitate productive workplace conversations.
- Coach leaders on effective communication and employee engagement.
- Performance Management
- Improve and maintain performance review processes.
- Assist managers with goal setting, employee development, coaching, and accountability.
- Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
- HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Maintain and update employee handbook, policies, and procedures.
- Review and recommend HR best practices.
- Run payroll and partner with benefits providers as needed.
- Support leave administration, accommodations, and employee documentation.
- Organizational Development
- Evaluate organizational structure and recommend improvements.
- Develop employee recognition and engagement initiatives.
- Help strengthen communication throughout the organization.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR systems and processes. Qualifications
- Required
- 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Experience supporting executive leadership in a manufacturing, food production, or privately held business environment preferred.
- Ability to build the infrastructure to the HR department.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust across all levels of an organization.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- High level of discretion when handling confidential information.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership.
- Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
- Experience leading HR initiatives in growing organizations.
