As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be in a position of responsibility for accounts payable and cash disbursements. In addition, this position requires some cross training on other accounting department tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with processing accounts payable vendor invoices into our accounting software.
- Review checks that are written for weekly check runs.
- Communicating with vendor regarding payment status, invoice requests, and inquiries as needed.
- Maintain relationships with vendors
- Monitor A/P invoice approvals are completed in a timely manner.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Contact vendors to obtain necessary documents needed to process invoices such as W9s, payment/bank details, etc. Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- College degree preferred, but not necessary
- 2-5 years’ accounting experience
- A knowledge of Microsoft office products, primarily Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to interact with a variety of personalities of vendors, customers, and employees
- A focus on customer satisfaction Salary & Benefits Range: $45,000 – $55,000 Final determination of a successful candidate’s pay is based on job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
