We're looking for an Accounting & Finance Systems Manager to lead the evolution of our Contract-to-Cash ecosystem, partnering with Accounting, IT, and business leaders to modernize financial operations, implement innovative solutions, and create a more efficient, scalable finance organization. Responsibilities
- Own and continuously enhance the firm's Contract-to-Cash processes, including billing, revenue management, client arrangements, accounts receivable, collections, cash application, and related financial workflows.
- Partner with Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders to develop and execute a strategic roadmap for finance systems and process improvements.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, streamline workflows, improve controls, and enhance the overall user experience.
- Lead projects from discovery through implementation, including business analysis, process mapping, requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, deployment, and user adoption.
- Translate complex business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, testing plans, and implementation documentation.
- Manage relationships with third-party software vendors, oversee system enhancements, evaluate new functionality, and drive continuous platform optimization.
- Champion the use of automation, AI, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and reporting.
- Ensure system enhancements align with internal controls, audit requirements, data governance standards, and downstream financial reporting.
- Develop and monitor operational KPIs, adoption metrics, and process performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Create documentation, training materials, and self-service resources that promote standardization and increase user adoption.
- Collaborate with Finance Systems and IT teams to deliver scalable, enterprise-wide solutions while serving as the subject matter expert for the Contract-to-Cash portfolio.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in finance systems, business systems analysis, product ownership, ERP implementation, or process improvement supporting Accounting or Finance.
- Strong understanding of Contract-to-Cash processes, including billing, pricing, revenue management, accounts receivable, collections, cash application, and client arrangements.
- Experience working with enterprise financial systems; Aderant experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation.
- Experience improving business processes through automation, workflow optimization, or digital transformation.
- Knowledge of internal controls, audit requirements, and financial governance.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge business and technology teams. Why This Opportunity?
