As a Project Manager, you will work directly with clients and the Marketwake team to launch, plan, guide, and execute projects while strengthening client rapport along the way. Our expectation is that you will prioritize responsibilities, execute efficiently, and consistently communicate the needs and expectations to both the team and clients without missing a beat. You will also be responsible for tracking time, managing budgets, and ensuring projects stay profitable and are completed within scoped hours. Responsibilities
- Oversee strategic plan of projects, monitor and adapt as needed to ensure profitability and timely completion.
- Create detailed project plans, execution task lists, and Gantt Charts for the team and client, emphasizing time tracking and scoped hours.
- Manage communication tools (Asana, etc.) for client and team, ensuring that dates, tasks, and communications are executed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Lead calls with the client to set expectations and make updates to the project plan.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Accurately plan due dates, ensuring internal resources are scheduled ahead of client expectations.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, emphasizing the importance of staying within scoped hours.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Monitor production and quality to customer standards and measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, with a focus on profitability.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders to ensure timely correspondence and updates to minimize any miscommunications or misaligned expectations.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Identify areas and opportunities to enhance Marketwake’s Project Management plans and reports.
- Identify areas and opportunities to increase project scope (Cross-sell/Upsell).
- Report on project progress, offer viable solutions and opportunities as they arise, ensuring a focus on staying within budget and scoped hours. Qualifications & Requirements
- Must live in Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
- BA/BS/MS degree in marketing, communications, or other related fields.
- 3-5 years of experience in relevant roles (customer service, marketing, sales).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with and managing external vendor/partner relationships.
- Self-starting and highly proactive.
- Comfortable learning new software with a quick grasp of technical concepts.
- Problem solver
- Ability to clearly define and delegate tactics to a team and set accurate expectations with internal and external stakeholders.
- SCRUM certification and experience Project Managing web applications, websites and/or platforms. Attributes:
