We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, strong organizational skills, and experience working within an ERP system, preferably Rubicon ERP. This position will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and ensuring timely financial reporting. Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting functions
- Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Maintain the general ledger and journal entries
- Prepare monthly financial reports and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Process customer invoices and vendor payments
- Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare sales tax and other required filings
- Work closely with management on financial reporting and budgeting
- Maintain accurate records within Rubicon ERP
- Assist with payroll processing (preferred but not required)
- Support outside CPA during tax preparation and annual reviews Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Experience with Rubicon ERP strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Preferred Experience
