Location: Atlanta, GA (onsite 5 days a week)Duration: Direct HireRole SummaryThe Staff Accountant supports the accounting function by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role plays a key part in tracking financial performance, reconciling accounts, and supporting reporting processes.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform core accounting activities, including journal entries and month-end close supportReconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepanciesPrepare and complete bank reconciliationsTrack and monitor financial transactions and account activityAssist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reportsSupport oversight of cash activity, including payments, refunds, and account balancesMaintain accurate financial records and documentationAssist with audits, compliance requirements, and special projects as neededCollaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and timely reportingQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)2–5+ years of accounting experience (flexible based on level)Strong understanding of general accounting principles (GAAP preferred)Experience with account reconciliations and financial reporting#J-18808-Ljbffr
