Job Summary The Human Resource Consultant provides expert guidance and support to organizations on various Human Resource matters, including talent management, compliance, and organizational development. This position emphasizes the assessment of current Human Resource practices, the identification of areas for improvement, and the delivery of customized solutions to meet the unique needs of the institution. Responsibilities Job Duty 1 - Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing human resource practices to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement within the organization. Job Duty 2 - Provide expert advice on talent management strategies, including recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning, to enhance organizational effectiveness. Job Duty 3 - Develop customized training and development programs tailored to the specific needs of the institution to foster employee growth and skill enhancement. Job Duty 4 - Facilitate workshops and training sessions for managers and employees on various Human Resource topics, including performance management, leadership development, and employee engagement. Job Duty 5 - Analyze Human Resource metrics and data to provide insights and recommendations that inform strategic decision-making and improve overall human resource functions. Job Duty 6 - Assist in the development and implementation of compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent while aligning with the institution's budget. Job Duty 7 - Serve as a resource for managers and employees by providing guidance on complex Human Resource issues and facilitating effective communication throughout the organization. Job Duty 8 - Prepare detailed reports and presentations that summarize findings, recommendations, and action plans for improving human resource practices and outcomes. Job Duty 9 - Collaborate with leadership to design and implement policies and procedures that ensure compliance with employment laws and industry best practices. Job Duty 10 - Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Bachelor's Degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Experience Three or more years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications Additional Preferred Qualifications SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, PHR Preferred Educational Qualifications Master's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience Preferred Experience 3-5 years of relevant HR experience and practices Faculty Administration Experience Proposed Salary Atlanta, GA Salary Grade: G07 Anticipated salary range is $75,000 to $85,000.
