Position Purpose: Interpret company HR policies and procedures, laws and regulations. May perform duties in any of the following functional areas of HR, EEO/AAP, Staffing, Compensation/Benefits, Training, Organizational Development, and Employee Relations. Implement and communicate company wide initiatives and programs. May perform project work as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct employee realtions investigations and fact finding.
- Assist line management with MSS related training and transaction support.
- Assist HR Manager in delivering Leadership Training
- Assist in the selection of Leadership positions
- Assist in the communicationand enrollment process of employee benefits programs
- Interpret and provide guidance on corporate policy and call center practices Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- Typicaly reports to Human Resources Manager
- No direct responsibility for supervising others. Travel
Requirements
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. Physical
Requirements
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in responding to third party litigation
- Experience in representing a company in unemployment hearings.
- Experience in administering compensation programs
- Experience in administering a company's corrective action process
- Experience in delivering formal class room training
- Must pass the Drug Test Must pass the Background Check Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable. Minimum
Education
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. Minimum Years of Work
