Project Manager, Banking & Financial Services

Project Manager Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Project Manager for a consultant opportunity with a financial services client.

• Lead end-to-end execution of projects across various business lines.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, business units, and technology teams to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and dependencies.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Track project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to ensure cost-effective delivery.
• Provide regular status updates, reporting, and presentations to steering committees and executive stakeholders.
• Support organizational change initiatives, including communication strategies and stakeholder adoption.
• Coordinate with vendors and consultants as needed to support project delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial products and services.
• Knowledge of regulatory and risk frameworks impacting financial institutions.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects involving business and technology teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
