Role Description The Utilities Paralegal will support attorneys with legal matters related to utility cooperatives in a full-time, on-site role located in Vinings. This position requires consistent on-site collaboration with attorneys and staff to meet client needs and project timelines. Primary Responsibilities
- Schedule meetings, conference calls, and communications with clients, opposing counsel, consultants, and other parties.
- Manage deadlines, calendars, task lists, and matter-tracking systems.
- Assist attorneys with transactional, regulatory, governance, and litigation matters -- focusing on the utilities practice.
- Draft correspondence, corporate documents, resolutions, minutes, pleadings, and other legal documents.
- Review and proofread documents for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Organize and maintain client files and document management systems.
- Prepare meeting materials and board packets.
- Attend client meetings and assist with meeting administration and follow-up.
- Coordinate attorney and client travel arrangements when necessary. Preferred Qualifications
- Strong organizational and project-management skills.
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
