We are a growing construction company based in Newnan, Georgia, with annual revenues of $10–15 million. We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, payroll administration, and job cost accounting. Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting and financial operations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management
- Maintain accurate job costing and project financial reporting
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Coordinate with external CPA Firm
- Manage sales tax filings and other regulatory reporting
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
- Utilize Foundation Software for accounting, payroll, and reporting Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (highly preferred)
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction
- Previous Controller or senior accounting experience REQUIRED
- Experience with Foundation Software highly preferred
- Knowledge of construction job costing and WIP reporting
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities What We Offer
