Regional VP of Sales The Regional Vice President of Builder Sales is responsible for leading and growing builder sales operations within an assigned region. This role will focus on developing strategic relationships with residential homebuilders, driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and leading high-performing sales teams. The Regional VP will partner closely with operations, branch leadership, estimating, and installation teams to ensure exceptional customer service and successful project execution. This position requires a results-driven leader with strong relationship management skills, experience in the flooring or construction industry, and the ability to develop and execute regional sales strategies. Essential Functions:
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regional and national homebuilders, developers, and key decision-makers
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the builder segment
- Lead, coach, and develop builder sales teams across multiple locations within the assigned region
- Establish sales goals, monitor performance metrics, and hold teams accountable for results
- Collaborate with branch managers and operational leaders to ensure customer satisfaction and project success
- Participate in contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and customer presentations
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to drive strategic decision-making
- Partner with executive leadership on forecasting, budgeting, and growth initiatives
- Travel regularly throughout the region to support customers, sales teams, and branch operations
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred
- 7+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably within flooring, construction, building materials, or homebuilder services
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing high-performing sales teams
- Strong knowledge of the residential builder industry and sales cycles
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop strategic action plans
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel frequently throughout the assigned region Job
