Job Title: Controller

A financially driven leader with 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.

Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and team development.

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with occasional extended hours as needed.

On-site in Fayetteville, GA.

To strengthen financial discipline, improve operational excellence, and support strategic growth initiatives.

Standard office setting with occasional visits to job sites requiring adherence to safety protocols.

$115,000–$130,000 annually.

This is a senior finance leadership role responsible for maintaining accurate accounting operations, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, and leading internal controls, reporting, and budgeting processes while mentoring an accounting team.

● Manage GL, AP/AR, payroll, taxes, inventory, revenue recognition, and job costing.● Lead monthly/quarterly/year-end close and deliver GAAP-compliant reporting.● Coordinate audits and ensure regulatory and tax compliance.● Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.● Optimize ERP system (Sage Intacct) for reporting and efficiency.● Mentor and develop accounting staff to meet organizational goals.

● Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA/CMA preferred.● 10+ years of accounting experience with leadership in construction, manufacturing, or services.● Strong GAAP knowledge, ERP proficiency (Sage Intacct), and process improvement track record.● Skilled in job costing, long-term contracts, and financial analysis.● Effective communicator and collaborative leader.
