This role supports financial leadership, strategic planning, and operational alignment across departments.

Hybrid or In-Office.

The Controller will lead the accounting function for a growing construction firm, driving accurate financial reporting, operational efficiency, and compliance with internal policies and industry standards. ●

• Manage month-end close, general ledger, and financial reporting
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Perform job costing, WIP reporting, and AIA billing
• Maintain internal controls and accounting procedures
• Collaborate with project managers and senior leadership on financial strategy
• Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and insurance requirements
• Supervise accounting staff and ensure accurate payroll and benefits reporting

● Strong background in construction accounting ● Advanced proficiency with Sage 300 (Timberline) and related ERP tools ● CPA preferred but not required ● Knowledge of GAAP and construction industry compliance standards ● Excellent communication and cross-department collaboration skills
