We're looking for an Investment Analyst to support manager underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and daily reporting, working closely with the Associate on the investment team. Hedge fund experience is not required — we're looking for someone sharp, organized, and eager to learn the space. Role Overview Manager Underwriting
- Support due diligence on hedge fund managers — strategy, track record, risk profile, and portfolio construction
- Lead calls with bankers, hedge fund managers, and service providers; take structured notes and summarize key takeaways
- Draft underwriting memos and recommendation summaries
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support manager evaluation and investment decisions
- Build forward-looking scenario analyses on current and prospective managers Portfolio Monitoring
- Track existing investments against thesis, performance, and risk parameters
- Flag material changes in manager performance or organizational stability
- Support the investor relations team in communications with clients on existing portfolios
- Support manager relationship management — data requests, updates, periodic check-ins
- Monitor and research broader capital markets and macro trends Daily Reporting
- Support daily processes around risk, margin, and treasury dashboards
- Support ongoing improvements to reporting automation Database Management
- Maintain records across internal tracking systems for managers, funds, and portfolio data
- Organize due diligence materials, call notes, and manager communications What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
- 1-3 years of relevant
experience
investment or corporate banking, accounting, investment management, buy-side roles, consulting, corporate development, etc.
- Strong Excel skills — comfortable with formulas, pivot tables, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Team-focused and collaborative, with a high degree of integrity and professionalism
